Left-arm opening batsman, Warner is the first Australian cricketer in 132 years to be the first in any format. Selected for the national team without experience in class cricket. He plays domestic cricket for the New South Wales and the Sydney Thunder. He served as Australia's vice-captain in the Test and ODI format between 2015 and 2018.

 Early Life

David Warner was born on October 27, 1986, in Paddington, a suburb of East Sydney. Warner used to play cricket in the morning and work in a store in the evening. At the age of 13, his coach told him to switch to right-handed batting. Said because they keep hitting the ball in the air. However, his mother, Sheila Warner, encouraged him to return to batting with his left hand and he broke the record of scoring under-16 runs under the Sydney Coastal Cricket Club. Warner created his international debut for Australia within the T20 International on eleven January 2009 against South Africa at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
