Dilip Kumar was a well known Indian actor

He made a lot of name in his time and also gave a lot of hit movies.

 Dilip Kumar's name would have been taken as the Bollywood star of the famous 80/90. black and white movies during this period.

 

 His real name is not Dilip Kumar but Muhammad Yusuf Khan And their nickname is Tragedy King.

 He was born on December 11, 1922 in Peshawar, British India. Now is in Pakistan. He studied at Barnes School, Maharashtra  and could not continue his studies.

 Many people think that Dilip Kumar is a Hindu by religion but it is not as if his real name is Yusuf Khan then it is Islam by religion. He later changed his name to Dilip Kumar.

 There are many people in Dilip Kumar's family and he was brought up with 12 siblings.

 Dilip Kumar's father was a land lord. He had land and fruit business in Peshawar and Deolali India. This period India and Pakistan were one and the same

 And after 1930, his family shifted to Mumbai. In 1940, when Dilip Kumar was young, he left home and moved to Pune. Because there was an argument between him and his father. After going to Pune, he set up a sandwich stall at the Army Club

 

Dilip Kumar's film career

 

 Talking about his film career, his first film came in 1944. His name is Jowar Bhata.

Dilip Kumar met Devika Rani in 1942 and hired her in his company. Then he used to get year for Rs. 1250 / -.

 Ashok Kumar was very much impressed by Dilip Kumar's acting. 

At the request of Devika Rani, he changed his name to Dilip Kumar. it was Devika Rani who cast her first and lead role in the movie Jwar Bhata. And this movie came in the year 1944. Not so fast

  He was identified with the Jagnu movie that came out in 1947. And he worked with Noor Jahan.

 And he got the pampering style from the movie that was released in 1949. in them. He had worked with Nargis and Raj Kapoor

 And in 1953, he became the first actor in Hindi films to win the first Filmfare Award for Best Actor. And this award was given to him for the film Daag which was released in 1952. He then went on to win seven awards and his career

 In 1960, Masala Azam was his hit movie. In which he played the role of Prince Saleem this movie was the second highest grossing movie till 2008

 He has produced a movie in his life called Ganga Jumna. Which came in 1961 From 1976 to 1985, no movie took a break.

 Dilip Kumar was awarded  Dada Sahib, Phalke and Padma Bhushan Awards by the Government of India in 1991, 1994 and 2015.

 And in 1949 he was awarded the Nishan e Imtyaz by the Government of Pakistan

 And his last movie was Qayala which came out in 1998. Then from 2000 to 2006, Congress elected Member Rajya Sabha. As an Indian actor, he has set a World Record for winning more awards

As for Dilip Kumar's family, he had two wives, Asma Rehman, whom he married in 1982 and divorced in 1982.

And his first marriage was in 1966 to Saira Bano and she stayed with him. speaking of their children, they have no son or daughter. His father's name is Lala Ghulam Sarwar who used to be a land lord and fruit merchant. And his mother's name is Ayesha Begum

Dilip Kumar passed away on July 7, 2021. He was 98 years old
